Murphy Oil Corporation Renews Employee Benefits Plan with The Lewer Agency, Inc.
KANSAS CITY, MO – (August 1, 2011) – The Lewer Agency, Inc., a leading marketer and administrator of employee benefits programs for franchised operations in the United States, is pleased to announce that it will continue to provide employee benefits programs to the independent marketers of Murphy Oil Corporation.
Following the recent renewal, Mike Lewer, President of The Lewer Agency, expressed his satisfaction with assuming the marketing and, this year, the administration of the Murphy Oil benefits plan.

The Lewer Agency’s Vice President, Special Markets, John Owens, originally earned Murphy Oil’s business in June 2009, after being contacted by Mercer, an insurance broker, and after meeting with members of the Murphy Oil benefits team in El Dorado, Arkansas.
The 2009 launch included the immediate rollover of 1,100 Murphy Oil employees to the new medical insurance plan and the development of a dedicated website designed by Lewer to help Murphy Oil employees take full advantage of the benefits and services provided by the new Lewer program. (1999)
